Eligibility
Deputy Manager (Law): Candidates should possess Graduate with a degree in Law or a Law Graduate who has passed 5 years integrated Law course from a recognized University in India
Experience: Law Graduates who have enrolled as Advocates with Bar Council and have atleast 4 years of experience as Law officer in the Legal Department of Scheduled Commercial Banks /Financial Institutions or; State Level Development Financial Institutions (the experience should be after enrolment as advocate with Bar Council)
Deputy General Manager (Law): Candidates should possess Graduate with a degree in Law or a Law Graduate who has passed 5 years integrated Law course from a recognized University in India
Experience: Law Graduates who have enrolled as Advocates with Bar Council and have atleast 15 years of experience as Law officer in the Legal Dept. of Scheduled Commercial Banks / Financial Institutions (as mentioned in the web page of Indian Banks’ Association under the link Member Associate) Or State Level Development Financial Institutions (the experience should be after enrolment as advocate with Bar Council)
Note: The qualification prescribed for various posts are the minimum. Candidates must possess the qualification and relevant full time post qualification experience as on 01st Sept. 2017
Age Limit
Candidate’s age limit should be between 25 – 35 years for S.No-1, 35 – 45 years for S.No-2 as on 01st September 2017
Age relaxation is 5 years for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe, 3 years for Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates & others admissible as per rules. For detailed age limit refer the Notification
Selection Procedure
(i) Deputy Manager (Law): The selection of candidates will be on the basis of online written test and interview. The test will be conducted tentatively on 11th November 2017.
The call letter of test will be uploaded on Bank’s website and also advised to the candidates through SMS and e mails
Candidates will be required to download the call letters
The test may be held at Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Bangalore, Bhopal, Raipur, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Jammu, Srinagar, Chennai, Madurai, Guwahati, Hyderabad/Secunderabad, Vishakhapatnam, Kolkata / Greater Kolkata, Lucknow, Varanasi, Mumbai/Greater Mumbai / Thane/Navi Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune, Dehradun, Jaipur, New Delhi/ Delhi NCR, Patna, Ranchi, Ernakulam & Trivandrum centres
Interview: Adequate number of candidates as decided by the Bank will be called for Interview. The qualifying marks in Interview will be as decided by the Bank
Merit List: for selection will be prepared in descending order on the basis of scores obtained in PK test and interview
(ii) Deputy General Manager (Law): Selection will be based on shortlisting and personal interview. Adequate number of candidates as decided by the Bank will be shortlisted, based on their qualification, experience and overall suitability, for interview. The qualifying marks in interviews will be decided by the Bank
Merit list for selection will be prepared in descending order on the basis of scores obtained in the Interview only
